Responsibilities:
Create Accurate Drawings:
Develop detailed CAD drawings from portfolio designs, verbal instructions, mark-ups, and client expectations.
Collaborate Effectively:
Work closely with Home Specialists, Design Specialists, Operations/Sales Directors, and the CAD Manager to create, correct, and modify construction sketches.
Quality Assurance:
Review and verify the accuracy of sketches and drawings, ensuring they are error-free before distribution to clients, subcontractors, project managers, and other stakeholders.
Resolve Uncertainty:
Proactively seek clarification from Home Specialists, Design Specialists, and CAD Manager to ensure designs are accurate and meet project requirements prior to completion and approval.
Organize CAD Assets:
Systematically archive and maintain CAD drawings on the company server, keeping project folders updated and organized as jobs progress and revisions are made.
Innovate and Apply Expertise:
Utilize creative expertise and advanced CAD techniques to continuously improve processes and outputs.
Additional Responsibilities:
Stay current with trends, technology advances, and best practices in home design and CAD. Seek opportunities to enhance our design processes and products. Participate in marketing, sales, and team activities as needed.
